Katrine Elise Agpalza Pedersen is an art historian and curator based in Oslo, Norway. She earned her MA in Art History at the University of Oslo. Currently, Pedersen holds the position of Curator of Contemporary Art at MUNCH, Oslo. Previously, she held the position of Curator at Kunsthall Trondheim, where she also served as Interim Director in 2022. In 2024, Pedersen was OCA’s Curator in Residence at ISCP, New York City. Her curatorial practice focuses on perspectives that combine alternative realities, spiritualities, knowledge systems, and technology, exploring the intersection of these realms. Recently, she has explored themes of diasporic ancestry, neuroplasticity, and memory – an inquiry motivated by her own experiences as a second-generation Filipina immigrant.
